In celebration of the first annual International Day of the Street Child of April 12th, Agape Scholars International will be hosting a 5k run/walk event to bring awareness around the issue of street children in Malawi, Africa.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 29th at Patriot’s Park (featured in photos below) in Greenville, Illinois. Registration will begin at 8:30 and the race will begin at 9:30 am. The cost to participate in the race is $15 and includes a t-shirt.
While there is an impending, significant chance of rain on April 29th, we have decided that the following Saturday, May 6th will constitute as a makeup day for the event if the rain significantly impacts the day. Please stay tuned as we will keep everyone up to date if the date must be changed due to rain.
